Unable To Play
The secretary of the Taranaki Rugby League (Mr A. F. Robinson) last evening Informed the Canterbury League board of control that Taranaki would not be able to play Canterbury at Christchurch on August 27. P. A. Stanton (Addington to Papanul). D. J. Barry (Halswell to Marist). and W. F. Glee son (Addington to Kalapoi) were granted immediate transi fers.
