EXTENDED FISHING
The experimental extended fishing season for the Ashley river closed on Tuesday, and the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society is awaiting the return of fishermen’s angling diaries. The special permit issued for the season asks that the diary on the reverse side be completed after each day’s fishing and returned to the society not later than June 14. Information fishermen have been asked to keep includes locality, time of day, undersize fish and type, fish taken and type, length of fish kept, and weight of fish kept
