Derailment Blocks Line
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, June 3. Derailment of an older-type LA coal waggon at the front of a southbound freight train at Kaikarangi, just north of Hunterville at 1.15 p.m. yesterday, blocked the main trunk line for four hours.
A six-car troop train was held 2j hours at Ohingaiti, and its late run south hindered traffic for another four hours.
