HEAD-ON CRASH Two Killed
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, June 3. Two persons died and several were injured when two cars collided head-on on the Foxton Beach road at 8.15 tonight. Police have not released their names. The accident occurred halfway between Foxton and the Foxton Beach township. A man driving one car and a woman passenger in the other vehicle were dead, police said. The injured were taken to the Palmerston North Hospital.
