SIX HURT ON ROADS
Three In One Accident
Mr A. P. Talbot, of 67 Carter street, Ashburton, and Mr and Mrs T. Mooney, of 66 Chalmers avenue, Ashburton, all suffered shock and cuts when the car they were in hit a traffic island in Moorhouse avenue near the Colombo street bridge last evening. The accident happened at 7.55 p.m. and the three were treated at the Christchurch Public Hospital. Two men on a motor-cycle were injured in a collision with a car near the corner of Withells road and Merrin street about 7.25 a.m. Mr B. D. Kennedy, of 34 Teesdale street, suffered leg and ankle injuries, and Mr A. J. Monk, of 15 Cranbrook avenue, suffered shoulder injuries. They were treated at the Christchurch Public Hospital. Mrs N. Ross, of 5 Pimlico place, suffered suspected internal injuries in a collision between a car and truck on the corner of Radley and Marshall streets about 8 a.m. She was treated at the Christchurch Public Hospital.
