Disappointing Turn-over
Although there was a crowd , of 15,100 at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s royal meeting at Addington ; Raceway on Saturday, this was hot reflected in the totalisator turn-over. On-course investments amounted to £134,133. OScourse the total was £92,092. Investments on-course for the one night and two day* j of the meeting amounted to ; £336,539 10s, compared with £323,447 10s last year when , the meeting was run over two nights and one day. Off-course figures showed a sharp decline, amounting to £241,714, compared with 1 £350,145 10s.
