A.A. Views On Finance
The Automobile Association (Canterbury) at its council meeting on Thursday night approved in principle the suggestion that some part of the cost of construction and maintenance of the Auckland harbour bridge and Christchurch-Lyttelton road tunnel be a charge on National Roads Board funds. It was incorrectly stated in “The Press” yesterday that the association opposed the suggestion. The error is regretted.
