Bus Terminal Fire
(N.t. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 21. A Railways Road Services bus was gutted and the panelwork of two others extensively damaged in a fire which threatened £48,000 worth of vehicles in the Khandallah bus terminal early this morning. Early discovery of the blaze by drivers completing the last bus service of the day at midnight and fast work by firemen enabled the fire to be controlled before it could spread through the terminus shed.
