HOUSE SOLD FOR £2550
Farm Passed In Offered on account of the estate of Laly Heriot Fowler, a bungalow at 74 Bletsoe avenue, Spreydon, was sold for £2550 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan. The house has three bedrooms, sunroom, two livingrooms, laundry, kitchenette, and bathroom. There is also a garage on the section of 27.4 perches. The initial bid was £2OOO. There were five bids of £lOO, and one of £5O. Offered on account of the estate of Charles Andrew, a grazing, fattening, and cropping farm of 230 acres three roods 12 perches at Greenpark was passed in at £25,160. The sale was held by the New Zealand Farmers' Coop. Association, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr C. S. Gibbs.
Improvements on the property, which is subdivided into 12 main paddocks, include a three-bedroomed bungalow, wool shed-granary, implement shed, and a hay shed.
