BOUGHT BY JOHN BURNS
Property In Tuam Street
A three-quarter acre property in Tuam street has been bought by John Bums and Company Ltd., which owns the adjoining building, for the purpose of consolidating its engineering section in one position and providing bulk storage space dose to its other premises in Lichfield street.
Its new property is at 328 Tuam street and has been bought from Moore Construction (Christchurch) Ltd. The price has not been disclosed, but the property was recently passed in at £39.000 at public auction.
The new owners plan extensive modifications to suit their own requirements, but do not plan any new buildings on the site. Already on the property is a single-storey office building, several other extensive single-storey buildings, and timber racks. The sale was made by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd.
