Space Delay

IN’.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) CAPE KENNEDY. April 5. A fifth attempt today to launch an orbiting astronomical observatory into space from Cape Kennedy hangs on the weather after savage tornadoes yesterday. The “telescope in the sky" was to have been sent into a 500-mile-high orbit on March 28. but high winds and technical problems delayed it three times last week. Today’s weather outlook is still not ideal. If the 39001 b satellite with its 10 electronic telescopes cannot be sent up in the next day or so. the shot could be delayed for about three weeks, because the delicate instruments would have to be recalibrated.
