Vessel Used By Head Of Line
An Ellerman Line vessel, now discharging at Lyttelton, has a direct connexion with Sir John Ellerman. who once regularly used her for his annual holiday to South Africa.
She is the 18-year-old, twinscrew City of Johannesberg, which has accommodation for 12 passengers. Sir John Ellerman now prefers quieter, more modem vessels of his fleet for his personal use.
The City of Johannesberg is commanded by Captain L. R. Jones.
