Police Methods
Sir, —Over the Friday night incident to which Mr Sutton referred, I feel there is a need for some correction. 1 was passing through the Square that evening and noticed the disturbance beside the Vietnam literature stall. The organisers appealed to the police, who ignored the issue and merely replied with a facetious remark. I feel their job is to administer the law and not to express their political views and by doing so neglect their duties.— Yours, etc., PASSER BY. April 2, 1966.
