(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON. The Australian tennis professional, R. Laver, has been invited to help Britain’s Davis Cup squad prepare for Us match against New Zealand. Laver was quoted in the ! “Daily Mail” as saying that ihe would be happy to help. “It depends on previous commitments in Paris.” he said. The red-haired former Wimbledon champion was in London for the professional championships in Wembley Stadium today. The British team meets New Zealand in London on April 28-30. If Britain wins, it will play Hungary on the slow clay courts in Budapest on May 13-15. The British see the match as a dangerous one and want help from the world’s best. The British squad is prepared to miss the Italian championships in Rome in early May to concentrate on practice with Laver for the cup round. *
