Decentralisation
Sir, —1 am very interested to see that some progressive New Zealanders are realising at last that something must be done to ease the daily “migration” of workmen from our country towns to our main centres. I hope that the national seminar on decentralisation, which is to be held shortly in Masterton, will give the solution to a sound growth of our rapidly expanding country and will show to those responsible in the big “labour-eating” organisations that decentralisation is the only answer for a healthy labour force distribution.—Yours, etc., LOOK AHEAD. March 22, 1966.
