Vicky Killed Himself

Victor Weisz—Vicky the cartoonist —took his own life, an inquest decided today. Vicky had left a note which clearly indicated his intention, the coroner, Mr Gavin Thurston, said. He recorded that Vicky, who was 52, died of barbiturate poisoning, self-administer-ed while he was suffering from depression.
To a New Life.—One of the oldest couples to immigrate to South Africa have arrived in Durban. They are Mr and Mrs W. Clark, of Leicester, England, who are both more than 80 years of age.
