’QUAKE IN QUETTA
73 Villages Affected (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) KARACHI, February 9. The Quetta region of West Pakistan was hit by a severe earthquake yesterday for the second time in 24 hours. Early reports said other regions of Multan Bahawalpur in West Pakisan also felt the shocks. Details of damage were not immediately available. In Monday’s earthquake in the Quetta region about 73 villages were affected and five women buried alive.
