Overhaul Of Aircraft
The United States Navy is negotiating with N.A.C. for the overhaul of an Antarctic C 47 Dakota. The aircraft is one of two ska-equipped C47’s used in the Antarctic for field party placement and re-supply. N.A.C. overhauled a Deepfreeze Cll7 super Dakota in 1963. A Navy spokesman said yesterday that NAC. had been selected for overhaul work because of its proximity to operations and its experience in handling the type of aircraft
