Pedestrian Killed
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, January 21. An elderly woman pedestrian who was struck by a car in Gladstone road, Gisborne, at 5.25 p.m. today, was dead on arrival at Cook Hospital. She was Olive May Walsh, aged 66, a widow, of 196 Stout street, Gihbome. Mrs Walsh was crossing the street when the accident happened.
