Mr H. G. Stanton, a management consultant of the P. E. Consulting Group (Australia) Pty. Ltd., arrived in Christchurch this week from Melbourne. He is the second member of the group’s team to be stationed in Christchurch to carry out the Canterbury economic development survey. Mr Stanton will be in Christchurch about a month. Inspector B. Kelly, of the Christchurch police, who has been the officer commanding the New Zealand Police detachment in Cyprus for the last six months, is returning home. He has been succeeded by Superintendent R. Moore, of the New Plymouth police. Mr G. Guy, principal of the Christchurch Teachers’ College, will leave Christchurch today for Sydney to attend a conference of principals of Australian teachers’ colleges at Armidale, New South Wales.
