Milk Money Stolen
Milk money thieves stole 7s 6d on the Linwood round of the chairman of the Canterbury Milk Vendors’ Association (Mr P. A. Caithness) on Tuesday night. Fifteen streets were raided but most of the customers used milk tokens, which were not taken.
The same night, thieves stole 15s in raids in Salisbury, Peterborough and Kilmore streets on the round of Mr W. A. Graham. Mr Graham said that milk money thefts were prevalent in February and March last year.
