AUCKLAND HAS YET TO LOSE

Canterbury’s first batter, B. Malkinson, hit on. She advanced on a sacrifice by J. Davies and scored on an overthrow which allowed N. Beale to second. Beale scored on a good hit by I. Jones who scored on a hit by K. McCormick.

With the ball relayed to home for the double play she was ruled safe at home for the best Wellington run.
