DELAYED FLIGHTS
All Passengers
Moved
Good flying weather throughout New Zealand yesterday allowed the National Airways Corporation to move the 500 persons who were delayed in Christchurch when high winds on Wednesday forced cancellation of their flights. Many of those affected rearranged their bookings to travel on scheduled flights yesterday. In addition the corporation also flew six special flights. Five of them went to Wellington, and the other, an aircraft positioning flight, went to Dunedin. By midday yesterday the backlog of passengers had been cleared and flights were back to a normal schedule.
