WELLINGTON, Dec. 30.

A Royal New Zealand Air Force officer will be posted to the United States Navy aviation supply office to facilitate the purchase and supply of equipment for the new Orion anti-submarine aircraft Flight Lieutenant D. P. Rodenburg, of Woodbourne, will leave today for Philadelphia. He will be in the United States about a year. The R.N.Z.A.F. said it expected Flight Lieutenant Rodenburg would have to deal with the ordering and supply of 20,000 new items of equip ment.

All equipment for the Orion will be bought through the United States Navy, which is the only other service in the world using the aircraft
