Injured By Surf-boat

A man was injured at Taylor’s Mistake on Wednesday when he was struck on the head by a surf-boat on the beach. He is Mr H. P. Hargreaves, of 158 Papanui road, who was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital with concussion. His condition is satisfactory. Mr Hargreaves was lying on the beach partly beneath the surf-boat, which was upside down. A gust of wind caught the boat, which struck Mr Hargreaves and knocked him unconscious.
