Mr David Dimbleby, son of Richard Dimbleby, the broadcaster and journalist who died of cancer las* week, last night asked people who wanted to send flowers to his father’s funeral to make a contribution to a cancer fund instead. Mr Dimbleby said his family was opening a “Richard Dimbleby Cancer Fund” to be devoted to cancer research and relief.
