FORESTRY COURSE
Officers From
Hong Kong
Two forestry officers sponsored by the Agricultural and Forestry Department of Hong Kong arrived in Christchurch yesterday to begin a two-year Forest Service ranger course. They are Messrs Tain Hsu and John Ka-leung Young, who will spend their first year at Reefton and the second at the Forestry Training Centre. Rotorua. Each year since 1963. forestry officers from Hong Kong have come to New Zealand for this course, and the new arrivals were met by two Hong Kong officers already in training.
Mr Ken lu, who was the first to come from Hong Kong in the scheme, topped the two-year course which ended at Rotorua a few weeks ago.
