“Random Reminder”

Sir,—Although I have been shocked by many of the articles appearing in “Random Reminder,” today’s one was so odious that I have been prompted to write in protest against its appearing in this newspaper. It’s your motto, “Nihil utile quod non honestum,” has been made a mockery of. That so great an act of dishonesty should be treated so flippantly is the reflection of a very sick society. This dishonest act of a lawbreaker is treated as a joke. A large portion of the general public regards itself as set apart from the law. The printing of this article can have done little to weaken this attitude.—Yours, etc, GRIEVED. December 17, 1965,
