Labour’s Policy

Sit,—Mr Kirk speaks of channelling investments into farming. Sounds strange to me, when 80 per cent of Labour supporters are opposed to the farming community. An overhaul of hire purchase is promised* should Labour become the Government. Labour predecessors had the opportunity to do this, but they did what the next Labour Government will do-nothing. Most of Labour’s supporters are using this pernicious system. I am afraid that the Labour Party will have to come up with something more solid to become the Government again.—Yours, etc., LABOUR NO MORE. December 18, 1965.
