Scholarship Winners
Eight Christchurch secondary school pupils have been awarded Robert Triggs scholarships, which they will hold for the next two years. The scholarships, worth £3O each are made available by the Public Trustee on the recommendation of the Christchurch Secondary Schools’ Council. Winners of the award are: Betty Robertson (Avonslde Girls’ High School), Thomas Bourke (Burnside High School), Laurence Wilkes and Claire Hogan (Christchurch Technical High School), Helen Scott (Hillmorten High School), Paul Jennings (Linwood High School), Lorraine Argue (Mairehau High School) Russel Lane and Glenys Holland (Pap'anul High School), Owen Jones (Riccarton High School).
