Seriously Hurt

TIMARU. Oct. 26. A ship’s engineer suffered serious injuries when his motor-car crashed into a telegraph pole on the State highway, between Orari and Rangitata, about 4 a.m. today. He is Michael John Jensen, aged 23, of the Union Steam Ship Company's motor-vessel Katui, whose home address is given as 12 Hunter street, Hawera.
Mr Jensen was admitted to the Timaru Hospital with a fractured leg and pelvis. He was later transferred to Dunedin.
Mr Jensen was found by a passing motorist.
