Dowling Will Be Captain
G. T. Dowling, who led Canterbury last season when it won the Plunket Shield, has been re-appointed captain of the representative team.
The appointment was made at a meeting of the management committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association last evening.
Messrs G. W. Frampton (convener), D. J. Blakely and A. N. Bailey will select the Brabin Shield team, and Mr W. McD. Anderson and Mr Frampton will choose the Rothman’s tournament team.
