Girls Run Away From Home
Ten girls ran away from the training centre, Kingslea, Shirley, yesterday. Eight of the girls left at the same time, and five of them were located by police in Marshland road two hours later. During the week-end, 11 girls ran away from institutions in Christchurch. Earlier this year, 23 girls ran away from the Kingslea centre in one group. Hornby Store.—The Hornby store of Still’s, Ltd., which closed on Friday, had been in business for 68 years. The history of ihe store began in 1897 when it was the only store between Upper Riccarton and Templeton.
