SYDNEY, Sept. 14
An Auckland Maori coloratura soprano has won the Dame Nellie Melba aria competition in the City of Sydney Eisteddfod now being held in Sydney. Miss Kiri Te Kanawa sang “Una Voce Poca Fa,” from “The Barber of Seville." by Rossini. She al,so came second in the Bach aria. Bist due bei Mir.
