STUDENTS PROTEST
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAIGON, September 1. A student protest movement was reported today to have spread to the northern city of Quang Ngai, some 340 miles north-east of Saigon. Reports said that about 1000 students and other youths carrying anti-government banners gathered for a protest rally yesterday, which was highlighted by demands for the resignation of the government.
