REUNITING FAMILIES
Iron Curtain Migrants (N Z. Pren Ann—Copyright) ( CANBERRA. Aug. 5. About 30,000 children and \ other persons have been brought to Australia from | behind the Iron Curtain in the last 10 years. They were reunited with their families, i which had migrated earlier. Immigration officials intend to go on with the humane, and sometimes heart-breaking work of reuniting children with parents, and bringing brothers and sisters together again. A gradual easing of restrictions and a greater willingness to co-operate by Russia and East European Communist countries has been making the task easier. In the last financial year. 4600 were brought out from these countries.
