Fire In Funeral Premises

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 6. Fire badly damaged the funeral premises of Mr N. J. McMahon in Raynors road, Huntly, shortly before 8 p.m. Part of a tow-storey brick building was burnt and part of the roof collapsed. The funeral chapel, in a separate wing, was saved. A member of the Huntly Fire Brigade, Mr K. Knightly, drove a hearse undamaged out to the road.
