(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, July 14. Associated Newspapers’ Australian investments were increased during the last year by a purchase of shares in News, Ltd., who are concerned with newspapers and television in that country, says Lord Rothemere, chairman of the group, in a statement to shareholders. The annual general meeting of the company will be held tomorrow. “Associated Newspapers is permanently engaged in the field of mass communication media and our Australian investments are allied or complementary to these principal activities,” Lord Rothennere adds.
