SHEEPSKIN SALE
Some Good Prices (N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU. July 14. A 5 per cent rise in prices for pelts, shearlings, quarter and half-wools was recorded at the monthly Timaru sheepskin sale today. Full-wool crossbreds made a spectacular 7| per cent rise, but halfbreds in the same grade dropped by 2 per cent on recent rates. There was.also a slight easing in three-quarter wool skins. There was a carding of 13,000 skins and a full bench of buyers. Keenest interest was in the shorter wool skins, which were seasonally in short supply. _ Price Range The range of prices in pence ner lb was:
