Surprising Choice The University A player, I. Day, is the surprise inclusion in the Canterbury men’s basketball side to play in the South Island championships which begin in Christchurch on Thursday. He represented the province for the first time in a tournament -at Petone on Saturday and his form was such that the chief coach-selector (Mr P. Doogue) decided to include him tn the championship, team.
