Sir Francis Adams said in Christchurch alone more than 3000 citizens, young and old. gave their services in carrying out this year's collection “May I express to all who have contributed to. or assist-1 ed in the ‘Freedom From | Hunger’ collection, our most 1 grateful thanks for their generous assistance and support,” he said.
