ELECTION IN GHANA
All Candidates Unopposed (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) ACCRA, June 3. There will be no voting on Ghana's general election day next Wednesday. The 198 candidates put up by the ruling People’s Convention Party are the only nominees for the same number of constituencies. An official of the Local Government Ministry, quoted by Ghana News Agency, said the 198 party nominees would be judged as returned unopposed on June 9. The official said the Ministry would publish the names of the successful candidates in the “Ghana Gazette” and would have them displayed all over the country.
