Japanese Trawler Off Motunau
Lyttelton fishermen are concerned at the presence of a large Japanese trawler seen fishing off Motunau this week. The president of the Lyttelton Fishermen’s Association (Mr D. J. Threadwell) said yesterday he had seen the trawler which was heavier than 2000 tons.
