No Premiums For Wheat
Flourmillers were not yet in a position to pay premiums for high-quality wheat, the New Zealand Flourmillers’ Society decided at its annual meeting yesterday. The society decided that it could do nothing until farmers knew what they could do to improve their wheat to give it a high baking score, and until the Wheat Research Institute had perfected its baking test.
