TWO CARS IN COLLISION

Three Treated For Injuries Three persons, one an infant, suffered minor injuries when the car in which they were travelling and another car collided at the corner of Rolleston avenue and Gloucester street about 2 p.m. yesterday. Mrs Leola Stapleton, of 17 Desmond street, Merivale, suffered an arm injury, her infant son, Grant, a chest injury, and her mother, Mrs Monica Manderson, of the same address, an injury to her leg. They were all treated at the Christchurch Hospital and sent home. Miss Mavis Olorenshaw, of 21 Worcester street, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for a leg injury after the car in which she was a passenger and another car collided at the corner of Montreal street and Gloucester street about 4.35 p.m. yesterday. Mr Francis Mallett, of 467 Halswell road, suffered minor head injuries when his car and a van collided at the corner of Richardson terrace and Ferry road about 1 p.m. yesterday. He was sent home after treatment at the Christchurch Hospital.
