NEW TALKS ON TAX
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 2. The Commissioner of Inland Revenue (Mr L. J. Rathgen) will make another “first” in the history of the Inland Revenue Department on Monday when he will hold a news conference. Among subjects likely to be discussed are the department’s plans for a national public assistance drive during May, the simplification of tax forms and methods to help the public understand the tax system.
