FIREMAN BURNED
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 2. A fireman was treated at Wellington Hospital for burns to the backs of both hands after a fire in a tar vat at the Wellington Gas Company’s works at Miramar yesterday. Fireman N. S. Doran suffered tar splashes on his hands when burning tar in the vat boiled over. He was discharged after treatment at the hospital.
