The Rev. Canon R. P. Andrews has been appointed vicar of the parish of Cashmere Hills. For the last four years and a hilf he has been senior hospital chaplain in Christchurch. Before that he was successively vicar of Akaroa, Addington, High field (Timaru), and Linwood, and rural dean of Banks Peninsula from 1946 to 1948. He has been an honorary canon of Christchurch Cathedral since 1961, Mr G. R. Watters, chairman of the Waimate High School board of governors, will resign from the board when his term expires on March 31. He has represented the Canterbury Education Board on the high school board for 22 years.
