Dr. D. S. Letham, of the Fruit Research Division, D.5.1.R., Auckland, has been awarded the New Zealand Association of Scientists’ Research Medal for 1964. The medal is awarded annually for outstanding research work, by a scientist under the age of 40, in the fields of natural, physical or social sciences.—(P.A.)
