Sir, —I agree with “Disgusted Passenger,” having encountered a similar lack of service, and have noticed, too, that in the very early hours of evening it represents a most unfriendly appearance with its upturned chairs and general non-activity. On one occasion a friend and myself trekked upstairs to the restaurant to be told by the waiter-cum-receptionist that, as we had made no booking, we could not be admitted.— Yours, etc.,
